User manual
Individual needs may vary, depending on diet and physical activity, among other factors. For example, start with a dose of 5 grams of BCAA powder mixed in 300 ml of cold water or juice. Shake gently in a shaker or stir the powder into a glass of water or juice with a spoon to avoid foaming. This is because the foam can create an unpleasant taste. You can take this powder before, during and after your workout.
What is Plantforce® - BCAA Powder?
BCAA is an abbreviation for branched-chain amino acids, i.e. the branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine. These three amino acids are among the 9 essential amino acids that play an important role in the body in protein synthesis and energy production. BCAAs are responsible for the largest amount of essential amino acids in the body (35-40%) and are also present in high muscle concentrations (16%).
Different concentrations of BCAAs occur naturally in foods, especially in animal products. This vegan BCAA powder is therefore the perfect solution if you have a plant-based diet.
Why are these BCAAs important?
- Leucine is a very important amino acid for stimulating muscle building. Only at an intake of 2.5-3 grams of leucine can this process be activated;
- Isoleucine is the second most important amino acid because it improves glucose metabolism and increases glucose uptake in muscles;
- Valine interacts with leucine and isoleucine.
